Here is a 'Barely there/No makeup' makeup for you guys! Looking like a radiant natural beauty never goes out of style (even though you are actually really wearing makeup lol).
Ofc being natural is wearing no makeup. This is just a tutorial on perfecting that flawless natural look WITH makeup. It's very popular trend with Korean actresses and through these methods- they appear fresh, youthful and radiant. They look like they aren't wearing much makeup but ofc they are!
Looking fresh faced and natural is very popular in Asia. I used to wonder how do these women look so freaking flawless. It's all about smart high lighting and soft application of makeup.
Instead of adding colour/mood into your face. It's simply enhancing features of your face.
Of course you can say 'Why not just wear nothing on your face then? Surely that's natural!!' but not all of us can walk out and look flawless. So this look is really just correcting flaws so you should still look like yourself- just a bit more enhanced.
I feel this look will cause a lot of controversy about ppl like to exaggerate and bend situations. I don't wear makeup everyday. This is simply the korean celeb inspired look. Take it or leave it. Yessie? =P
Wearing this look makes me look more awake than full face makeup (eyeshadows, lipstick, gloss, etc) because some eyeshadows can make the eyes look yellow/dull.
Note! This look was filmed really quickly. BB creams require time to adjust into skin tone which is why my face appears slightly lighter.
I made a similar vid back then. I wasn't too happy with it because quality was poor and it didn't look as 'natural' as this one did.

School is a place to learn but there is nothing wrong with looking refreshed for school with a little bit of makeup. I skipped foundation and powder and just concentrated on concealing and highlighting key features. When I went to school, alot of girls wore full coverage of makeup to school which is fine if it makes you feel more comfortable.

All bulldog puppies have to deal with this problem, they have to learn to get up on there own. If the owner helps them, they won't learn and the owner can't be there to help flip them over 24/7. It is a common thing you see when around any bulldog puppies. Due to their? odd body shape, yes it is difficult for them to get up. Everyone seriously needs to calm down, the owner of the video was actually doing the right thing, and people will realize this if they think about it hard enough.

I skipped foundation and powder and just concentrated on concealing and highlighting key features. When I went to school, alot of girls wore full coverage of makeup to school which is fine if it makes you feel more comfortable.

Who has turquoise hair, can sing any Japanese songs you like and drives a Toyota Corolla?
You're looking at her, and this video can show you how to look like her. This video would work well for those who want to dress up like Miku at her concerts, anime events and expos and more! ( fyi, Miku doesn't wear hairbands, but I had to wear a few because I was in the desert filming this scene. It was so windy, my hair was flapping everywhere and getting all tangled. How did Rapunzel do it?! Seriously!)
Hatsune Miku is a vocaloid, she's not an anime or hologram, this video explains it pretty well and shows you how to use the vocaloid program. It may seem new to you, but it's been around in Japan for a while. Very cool stuff.

Obviously we all know Lady Gaga had CG applied to her eyes, but that doesn't mean we cannot replicate the look using makeup. As you can see, it looks very close to her big GOOGLY eyes, maybe not as crazy looking haha! You can use After Effects to enlarge the eyes.

School is a place to learn but there is nothing wrong with looking refreshed for school with a little bit of makeup. I skipped foundation and powder and just concentrated on concealing and highlighting key features. When I went to school, alot of girls wore full coverage of makeup to school which is fine if it makes you feel more comfortable.

Next use an all over foundation applied with a sponge - choose a foundation slightly lighter than your natural skin tone. Apply a blendible powder all over concentrating on the nose and chin area. Dust a bronzer all over the face with a large makeup brush to knock off any loose powder. Highlight the top of the cheek with a high lighting or glimmer powder. Apply a brown/pink blush to the cheekbone line and blend up towrds the temple. Apply a golden yellow, shimmer eyeshadow to the entire lid, right to the corner of the eye. Use a very light yellow shimmer eyeshadow just below the brow line. Aplly a warm brown eyeshadow along the lash line and in the crease of the eye with a eyeshadow brush. Line the top lid with a kohl black eyeliner as close to the eyelashes as possible. Line the inside rim of your eye with the same black kohl eyeliner and then underneath the lash line, all the way to the corner of the eye. Lightly smudge the top and bottom line with a eyeshadow sponge brush. Apply black mascara to the top and bottom lashes, concentrating on the outside corner lashes. Apply a plumbing lip gloss to the lips and then line them with a lip line that will match your lip stick. Fill in with a matching lip gloss and then apply your red lipstick all over. To complete the lips, dab your glitter in the center of the bottom and top lip.

Benefit Cosmetics Smoking Eyes Kit
Remember in my post about the Festive Nails or more appropriately, “Party Nails”, I said I’d show you – finally – how to do the smoky eye look. And that I have my secret weapon? Well, as promised, here it is. But, please don’t judge too harshly as it’s my second time ever doing this look. It’s not as intense as others I’ve seen on other people, because a) I’ve got smaller eyes so the darker the colours, the smaller it makes my eyes b) I really rather not look like I’ve been punched in the eyes.
What’s my secret weapon? It’s Benefit Cosmetics Smokin’ Eyes kit. I got this from the MBBE goody bag I received in November. Basically, it’s an all-in-one kit, with the shades you would need to create the smoky eye look, plus highlighter (eye bright), and even something to tame your brows with the brow zing shaping wax and tweezer. There’s also a double-ended brush, one a fluff shadow brush and the other side an angled brush. Finally, there’s the smokin’ eye pencil.
Why is it fail proof? There’s an instruction sheet inside! So, with gusto and full of confidence – ok I didn’t have those, but I thought I’d give it a go anyway.
I’ve already prepped my face with concealer etc. and done my eyebrows too.
First step:
Apply the Pewter based eyeshadow on your lids.
Second step:
Apply the Deep Charcoal eyeshadow, starting from the outer corner, going inside, then halfway, go upwards towards the crease/top bit of your eye socket. This gives it depth. You can add more of this shade if you preferred a darker tone.
Third step:
Using the Pink Highlight shadow, highlight underneath you brow area, as well as towards the inner corner of your eyes.
Fourth step:
With an eye liner pencil, draw your lid line and then with the angled brush, apply the dark charcoal shadow on top of it – just to darken it a little bit more. Draw your lower eye line 3/4 of the way with the eye liner pencil too. Using your eye shadow brush, apply the dark charcoal underneath your eyes too – just a little and just lightly.
Finally, apply lashings of mascara. I’ve used They’re Real that I bought a few weeks ago.
To complete the look, apply some blush and a light, almost nude coloured lipstick. I’ve applied Face of Australia Mineral Lip Shine in First Kiss.

So I hope that sort of helped a little in demystifying the “art” of applying smoky eye look. It was pretty easy and if I had the guts I would probably add some intensity with the dark charcoal. You can also try the smoky eye look with other shades if you’re game enough. This is a great look also for parties, or why not vamp it up with the rock chic style hair style?
P.S: I did try to apply some false eye lashes, but thought I looked a little like Liza Minelli with a lash extension job gone wrong. So I decided to give those a miss.

Nicki is famed for her statement coloured locks, creative use of cosmetics and head-turning outfits. Make-up pro Holly – who has styled the likes of Florence Welch and Kreayshawn – says Nicki’s look is easy to re-create with a dose of inspiration from the stunning star herself.
The beauty expert says creating an even base is crucial to nailing Nicki’s show-stopping aesthetic.
“This look is for anyone who likes to be bold, creative and a little daring for a day or night look,” she explained to Cover Media. “Always start with a great base - an even skin tone is essential to building your look. Use a good primer like Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch – it gives a totally flawless effect.”
Holly says Nicki’s fabulously fun eye make-up is important when replicating her outlandish look. The make-up pro has revealed how to re-create it at home.
“Be striking and confident with your eyes, but the key is to use less product and blend. Use one colour all over the lid of the eye, so go for an amazing purple, aqua, turquoise or an egg shell blue - something vibrant and with depth. Don’t go trashy with the tone. Add a lighter shade in the corner of the eyes and a darker towards the outer edge and crease of the eyes. Do an all over block colour and then blend out so it gives a smoky look,” she advised.
“Then add a thin black line with Bobbi Brown black gel eyeliner above the lid to give a great base for lashes so you don’t see a join. Always curl your lashes and add lashings of YSL mascara. Then for an added delight of sparkle, use the Shimmer Twins - Treasure lashes for an instant POW!”
Holly says lips should be kept natural to avoid detracting from the statement eye make-up. Highlighter then completes the look perfectly.
“Keep the lips neutral with a nude or soft matt lipstick,” she said. “Then add a little contour to the face with a highlighter on the cheekbone and brow bone. You can also add a little to the bow of the lip.”

As the effort to encourage Americans to buy more stuff before Christmas enters the home stretch, a popular tactic in the marketing tool kit is gaining favor: the pop-up retail store.
The goal of the here-today-gone-tomorrow retail outlets is, of course, to sell merchandise. But many also try to burnish the images of the brands involved; in those cases, making money from the sales is secondary.
Because of those brand aspects, marketers and media companies have turned to temporary retailing during the holidays.
For instance, two magazines have located pop-up outlets within blocks of each other in Midtown Manhattan. One, Wired, part of the Condé Nast Publications unit of Advance Publications, is filling the space in 4 Times Square that was once occupied by the ESPN Sports Zone restaurant.
The Wired pop-up store features technology and tech-inspired gear and gadgets, most of which can be bought online at Wired’s store. There are also partnerships with Gilt Man, part of the Gilt Group; Kickstarter; Etsy; and the start-up incubator Y Combinator.
The other Midtown magazine pop-up was from Real Simple, part of the Time Inc. division of Time Warner, and it was at Citi Pond at Bryant Park. The Real Simple store had partners that included Citigroup, the Container Store, Zappos and DonorsChoose.org.
Other media examples include a pop-up store in Chicago from Men’s Journal magazine, published by Wenner Media.
Among the marketers getting into the pop-up act are MasterCard, with a Holiday Star Lounge at the Shops at Columbus Circle in the Time Warner Center; eBay, with a pop-up store in London; and Weatherproof, the clothing company, with a store at 345 West Broadway in SoHo.
The Weatherproof store is called Apartment 32, named after the 32 Degrees and 32 Degrees Heat lines of apparel. The store may be more pop-in than pop-up; plans call for it to remain open into the new year.

Ed Cowan: Will make his Australia debut in the Boxing Day Test
The opening batsman has scored centuries in each of his past four innings for Tasmania and also in the Chairman's XI against India in a warm-up match.
Ben Hilfenhaus and Shaun Marsh were also named in the team, with the latter returning from a back injury.
Cowan and Marsh replaced out-of-from pair Phillip Hughes and Usman Khawaja, while swing bowler Hilfenhaus has come in for Mitch Starc, who has been named as 12th man.
Ryan Harris and Dan Christian will remain with the group until their Big Bash League commitments later in the week, and all-rounder Shane Watson will also continue his recovery in a bid to be fit for upcoming Test matches.
With Australia missing Watson's contribution with the ball, captain Michael Clarke said that Hilfenhaus' endurance helped him win the final bowling spot over youngster Starc.
Clarke said: "He is a very good new ball bowler and he can bowl long spells and he has had success against India as well so there's probably a few reasons why we decided to go with Hilfy.
"We feel we have got the right XI to give ourselves a chance to win the Test match."
Clarke said 21-year-old Starc was disappointed when told he was dropped.
"Mitch is obviously disappointed. He would have loved a chance but he understands the reasons," he said.
"He has to keep working hard at his game now to continue to improve. (He needs) to go back to his Big Bash team and New South Wales and continue to take wickets."
Clarke also insisted his side have overcome their wobbles against swing bowling - something they would likely have to prove if called to bat on the first morning.
The Melbourne Cricket Ground's drop-in pitch has traditionally been batsman-friendly but groundsman Cameron Hodgkins has predicted a hairy morning session for the team batting first.
Australia's skipper would be mindful of last year's horror Boxing Day when former captain Ricky Ponting lost the toss to England counterpart Andrew Strauss.
His team were subsequently out for 98 when sent into bat on an overcast morning. As the pitch flattened in the afternoon sun, England's openers reached 157 without loss.
The tourists therefore set up victory within four days to retain the Ashes on Australian soil for the first time in a quarter of a century.
Clarke said he would ponder the conditions if they won the toss on Monday, when sporadic showers are forecast.
"I think it's important that if we play first, we play our natural game," he said.
"I think you have the confidence to back your own ability. We've done plenty of work, it's not for lack of training, it's not for looking at the opposition, our preparation has been spot on.
"Now it's about getting out there and enjoying every minute of it.
"I've no concerns if we bat first on that wicket and there's a bit of movement, I'm confident we're ready for it."
Australia's batsmen have been under fire ever since they were all out for 47 against South Africa in Cape Town last month.
They also collapsed spectacularly when coasting to victory against New Zealand in Hobart. The second Test defeat to the Black Caps led to a hastily convened batting boot camp held this week.
